You may be eligible for reimbursement. The receipt will be under your baby's name.
If reimbursement is important to you call your insurance company to see if your baby is covered for Osteopathy or Massage therapy.

How many apts will it take?

The good news is that babies respond really well to this type of work. They respond much quicker than adults. Each session you can expect to notice some improvement in some or all of these areas: your baby's latch, less spit up and gas, less constipation, deeper sleep and better mood.

It's typical for me to see babies for 4 sessions booked 1 week apart. There is never any pressure for you to book future appointments. Come for one session and see if it's a good fit for you. At the end of each session I'll tell you what I recommend and why.

The amount of sessions I recommend to you depends on how much tension your baby has in her body. Think of it like peeling away layers of an onion. It takes some time. At each session I'll address another layer of tension. Breastfeeding problems are complex and takes some time to sort out. Over 30 muscles are involved in your baby's body.

I keep the sessions booked close together so we can get your baby back on track and keep progressing forward. We will get the best results by helping your baby use their body in the right way. This means we want to release any abnormal tension in your baby's body then establish and reinforce new muscle memory feeding habits. It's normal for your baby to regress with a growth spurt, teething or colds (their body is working harder).
